Here and Now

Euclid Creek Reservation

I finished my first TA hike of the year, with friend and arborist TM who always has interesting stories. (Today: his childhood microscope, his father’s toenail clipping, wearing plastic bags in his boots when they leaked, Holden Arboretum, Moses Cleveland trees at Lakeview Cemetery, riding 100 miles on his bike at Rocky River Reservation, the blizzard of January 1977). Up the Ledge Trail we went on those steps that we wish they made just a little bit deeper. The picture above is close to the top. (Extra) Several people were out walking with their dogs. Back at the bottom, Levi stopped to chat with us. (Extra) He was captivated by TM’s gab.

It was snowing a little during our walk. The sun came out for 5 minutes.
