Snail

Another day of red ink. The weather has been singularly unhelpful; grey and dull but extremely muggy - enough to give one a headache without having to look at other people's maths all day. There was proper downpour for about twenty minutes in the afternoon which I thought might herald a change, but it didn't.

However, the brief shower seemed to encourage the snails to venture out for an airing.
