The beauty of frost

In Gaza there are over 2000 cancer patients in danger of dying due to lack of treatment. Ahmed is one of them. He is one of the sons to my dear friend M. Ahmed is an excellent artist and has drawn two of my grandkids. Due to the 16 year siege of Gaza, there are very few possibilities to treat cancer in Gaza. Just the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital have some treatment for some of the cancer patients. 

Israel ban different kinds of necessary medical equipment, items to repair medical equipment and even different kind of medicine. Israel decide who will be allowed to receive treatment at the Al Makassed Hospital in East-Jerusalem, and there is many patients that die while waiting for approval. 

Ahmeds last cancer treatment was in occupied East-Jerusalem in June 2023. His situation has been critical for many months now. The hospital is Gaza has applied for Israel to approve that he will be evacuate from Gaza and receive treatment in Turkey. My dear friend M and Ahmed are still waiting for an answer. They are displaced, they lack food, water, hygiene articles, warm clothes. Ahmed is getting weaker for every week. It's heartbreaking. 

If he survives the war, if he doesn't starved to death, or dies of diarrhoea or lung infection, if he gets evacuated, if cancer treatment will make him survive after such a long time without treatment,  if..if... if... if...... He will draw my youngest grandchild.
