All About Bricks, Barming

It was the usual weekly shop today followed by a relaxing pint at the Horseshoes in East Farleigh (which is our hour or so of joy on a Sunday). After we'd put away all the food we went on another of our local photographic safaris. This time it was walking up part of Hermitage Lane which is the main arterial road between Aylesford, Barming and the edge of Maidstone. As I've probably mentioned in some of my other blips this road has seen a massive increase in housebuilding on both sides and this results in it often being gridlocked with traffic. Urban planning at it's absolute best - not!
Today's images are of the detritus and hoardings that are a regular feature along it's length. It really is all about the bricks, whether it's tearing down the older dwellings on the land to using new ones to build the identikit estates that have sprung up around here like an out of control invasive plant.
