Swollen Heathcote River

Christchurch seems to be lurching from one weather event to another.

We have had continuous rain since yesterday to follow up on the snow. There is a lot of surface flooding, and king tides are expected to provide more problems for our damaged drainage system.

It has been a bleak weather period. However the sun symbol has appeared on our forecast for tomorrow.
