Diwrnod yn y dre ~ A day in town

“Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson

Es i i'r dre heddiw i gwrdd â fy mrawd ac i brynu ffilm am fy hen gamera ‘Brownie’.

Mae e wedi bod digwyddiad yn rheolaidd nawr cwrdd â fy mrawd yn gynnar yn y mis tra Nor'dzin yn mynd i Sefydliad y Merched. Mae'n gyfle dal i fyny gyda beth sy'n digwydd yn ein bywydau, Cawson ni ginio yn Wagamama - mae'n hoff fwyty fy mrawd - a ches i ‘Hot Pot’ gwych. Roedd e'n boeth a sbeislyd - da iawn ar ddiwrnod oer.

Ar ôl cinio es i i'r siop gamera (yr un ar ôl yn y dre, rydw i'n meddwl). Roedden nhw'n dda iawn am gyfnewid y ffilm prynais i'r wythnos diwethaf a oedd y maint anghywir. Rydw i'n meddwl mai ffilm gywir gyda fi nawr, ac rydw i'n edrych ymlaen at drio'r hen gamera eto.

I went to town today to meet my brother and to buy film for my old 'Brownie' camera.

It has been a regular occurrence now to meet my brother early in the month while Nor'dzin goes to the Women's Institute. It's a chance to catch up with what's going on in our lives, We had lunch at Wagamama - it's my brother's favorite restaurant - and I had a great 'Hot Pot'. It was hot and spicy - very good on a cold day.

After lunch I went to the camera shop (the only one left in town, I think). They were very good about exchanging the film I bought last week which was the wrong size. I think I have correct film now, and I'm looking forward to trying the old camera again.
