if at first you don't succeed

Much nicer today so I thought I would have another go at this shot. It did require a fair bit of work on it as the horse sculpture is in dark shade and the church in full sunlight. Will be better to have a go later in the year when the sun is lighting up both.

Much happier with this though. On 1st January, I was trying to take the shot while balancing umbrella, camera and tripod in pouring rain. Today was much better, though it was so cold my fingers could hardly make any adjustments on the camera. I think I got this shot controlling the camera remotely from my iphone, fingers were still numb though!
