Ethel, the pottery sheep, hand built by #1 daughter and Bridget, needle felted 'Quirky Bird' made by me on the bookshelf enjoying a shaft of sunshine this morning.

It's been a lovely day, cold, frosty but bright..  After lots of jobs and ticks off the 'to do' list and then a relapse  relax on the sofa, I finally got out for a walk at 4.45pm, just round the block, but it certainly woke me up!  and now I'm off to cook dinner with a spring in my step.

#1 daughter and I, and probably lots and lots of others, are so glad that the new series of 'The Great Pottery Throwdown' was back on our teles last Sunday, and it was as enjoyable as ever.
