Water lily

It didn’t flower last year so I had my fingers crossed it would this year. And it did.
I’ve had this water lily for a few years and each year it flowered until last year. I gave it lots of fertiliser during winter which might be why it’s produced a flower but it may also be that last summer was so wet and lacking in sunshine. Water lilies need sunshine to flower.
