Goddess...

... of succulents.

There are some beautiful blooms on this succulent plant known as Cotyledon orbiculata or round-leafed navel-wort. The main is the detail of the thick stem of the plant which is about 1.3m tall. It is at its winter's best and quite common to see around the verges and trails here in the mountains.

E1 -  the trunk including leaves
E2 - the leaves are sometimes called pig's ears
E3 - the flowers bloom in winter and are a rich orange and red colour, hanging like little bells.

It's been a wonderful wild Wednesday hiking in the hills so I'll tag this as a wild one, with thanks to Cailleach.
