Terrified Tufted Ducks

At the Villeneuve hide I was surprised to see the Great Crested Grebe couple (extra) in advanced gift giving courtship mode. The bigger of the two still has winter plumage which is much lighter than the summer colours. Then … something very big flew over a raft of Tufted Ducks. I don’t think it caught one but the noise was amazing!
