Old

A day of not doing much until mid afternoon when l did some granny taxi.
Double dance tonight so l’m trying to eat my main meal around 4pm as it’s too late when l get home after 9pm.

The park was exceptionally quiet earlier even though the weather was at its best for the day, raining now.
You will notice the string of fairy lights .
We keep the Christmas lights on in the park until the clocks go forward.
This tradition started in lockdown to cheer us all up and we have kept it going ever since.
To the left is the rear of the Salom  Church, opened and consecrated in 1840.
The little houses next to it are the fish and chip shop and the nail bar where l go for a manicure.
In the centre is the Queen’s Hall with the square tower and clock, first used in 1869.
Now used for weddings , amateur dramatics and a wife range of exercise classes both day and evening.
It’s where l do Zumba Monday and Fridays. I live about 100 metres from the hall and church but my house is anything but old so l get the best of the deal as l look out on such lovely architecture, when buildings were a real craft.

Oh and l got my gloves back from the cinema:-)
