Sunset in my neighbourhood

Home office and working concentrated until I notice the light in my dining room changed dramatically in a pink glow. Just had to peak out :-)

My friend Z and his family are internally displaced in Gaza like 1,9 millions others in Gaza. They live in small tents with no services. He writes:

"In every tent there is a different life story. Everyone lost the most beautiful days of their lives and memories in every corner of their homes.

Those homes were not silent concrete that just provided shelter. Those , homes were filled with life events, dreams, where our life story unfolded and our family identity was shaped.

Now the homes are gone, the streets are gone, the neighborhoods wiped out.

The days are now filled with despair,  sadness, emptiness and rootlessness. The tent camp is overflowing with garbage, the ground is muddy from the winter rain, and we are freezing. We are like homeless dogs who spend hours looking for a bite to eat, a sip of water. We are driven from one "safe zone" to a new "safe zone" while bombs fall in every "safe zone". Fleeing sick, unkempt, discouraged, traumatised, hungry and thirsty. Has the world forgotten us?  Has humanity disappeared?"

Yesterday 3 of Z's close friends got killed. Today another one.
