trimming has resulted in this odd shaped cedar in Enfield.
Robert Uvedale taught in Enfield in the 1600s.  It is reported, " There is a legend that he commissioned one of his pupils to travel to Lebanon and bring back a cedar tree, which he planted at Enfield."
