Upstairs Downstairs

We are creatures of habit. It is mrsfb's birthday today so we did exactly the same as we did last year - a trip to Gloucester Quays, with lunch at Nandos. As last year, after lunch mrsb had a mooch around the shops while I went in search of a blip. I thought an antiques shop would fit the Wide Wednesday theme of 'old'. The blip is a pano of two images merged together. There was a rather nice 1989 Jaguar parked outside.

A shot of the rather chaotic interior as the first extra. While I was looking around a lady came in looking for an anchor. They didn't have one.

When we got home, just like last year, we had a family Zoom with our two daughters and the boys. Daughter#2 told us about her morning. She got up really early to see the Munich sunrise pianist, who every morning, from now until April, whatever the weather, hangs upside down from a crane and plays while live dawn bird sounds from various Bavarian locations are relayed to the headphones of the viewers. You have to book. Second extra if you don't believe me!

Mrsfb had a nice day. This year we managed to buy a few items too. Some leggings (for her), some underwear (for me), a bear reading a book, a Coco Pops bowl and spoon (half price from Next), and a frying pan.

Update: forgot to say mrsfb had a nice birthday present from Lufthansa - £440 compensation for cancelling our flight to Frankfurt last month. Result!
