Into the jaws of.....

Quite a frightening vision when seen close-up! Windy here this afternoon and only the budded poppies and recent blooms have survived.

Messing about with the new D7100 and 50mm lens this afternoon. It seems to be a potent combination. The sharpness of the lens, the D7100's deliberate by-passing of the optical low pass filter (improves sharpness) and the file size from the 26mp chip giving lots of scope for cropping. Raw shots should be fantastic to work on. Looking forward to getting outside and trying sunny day landscapes.
