Shenzhen: Xi Chong Beach

With days to go until the end of our academic year, a bunch of staff jumped on a bus and headed two hours east of Shenzhen city into the wilds of Long Gang district to Xi Chong Beach.

Yeah, there may have been a typhoon lurking out there, which caused some pretty impressive shifts in weather but in the end it was sunny for a long stretch - long enough to splash about in some waves, get salt water up the nose, get sun kissed and generally feel good about actually getting out and away from it all.
