Ruad Stac Beag

Got up with a heid fu' of last night, got my gear together and formulated a plan for the day. Was a bit convoluted as it involved getting a hold of Cabey to give him a lift to Stirling; he was off rock climbing and I wanted a shortish day so I settled on Meal a Ghuithais on the Loch Maree side. Great wee circular path gets you up to 550m then you stride off and up the hill for great views of the back of Beinn Eighe; I was over on the back end of that hill yesterday. Light was good deal flatter, bit cooler on the tops but incredibly muggy further down.

Got off the hill in good time and headed ioff to the Badacro Inn, the RV point. Met up with another mate, Mhairi, had a rather nice seafood lunch and a pint of Shenevall Gold before heading back down the road.

Another quite excellent weekend with the club.
