War Memorial in Alexander Parkm

As it was such a sunny day we caught the train to Penarth so that Sally could pick up her subscription books from Griffin Books, a generous birthday gift from a friend. We also strolled around Alexander Park which overlooks the sea front and pier. The blip is a view of the War Memorial in Alexander Park, surrounded by attractive topiary trees.
On the way back home we stopped off in the City centre to buy some fresh plaice for supper tonight and fish pie filling for the weekend from Ashtons the fishmongers in the Central Market.
