Winter Willow Storm

A projected 5" turned out to be 2, but it was the wet heavy kind. When I went out it was blowing quite hard, stinging my eyes, but so envigorating. (Not sure how the spell check works, but it underlines envigorating in red).

I trudged around with the 100-400 which has a big hood that came in handy to keep most of the snow off the lens. It's also weather sealed, but I had a plastic bag with me for when I wasn't shooting.

I liked this shot of the willow because it's dark enough to see the snow falling. The tree is also isolated from any background and the image has a wild feel to it. I reduced clarity a bit to soften the feeling further.
