Dunlin

I was thwarted several times today in my attempts to try out my new lens. very time I got geared up to go out, the rain came on. So I only managed to get a walk in the late afternoon. I got several reasonable shots on the shore - there is obviously more to this telephoto lark than it first appears. I like this shot of a Dunlin looking for insects among the seaweed. I am encouraged to persist!
