Popcorn?

Well, it really reminded me of popcorn, but it’s a bracket fungus. If my app. Is correct it’s Annosum root rot, and is one of the most serious parasites that grow on conifers.
Drove along to Shell Bay and walked in the wood this morning. It was quiet, calm and damp, although not raining.
I heard a woodpecker, and happily spotted it fleetingly.
We walked too far, for me anyway. I felt that I just needed someone to come up behind me with a wheelbarrow and scoop me up. I was just being over ambitious. I’m still very tired, lightheaded and nauseous. But an awful lot better than I was, so happy to be heading in the right direction.
