Building works

The neighbour 3 doors down is having a loft conversion . But to do so they have to raise the roof. Our lofts are quite shallow as we have very high Victorian ceilings. Today the scaffolders arrived and have been busy all day. Rather them than me in the winter.
At 8am we had a banging on our front door and we were still thinking about getting up. Apparently there is a gas leak on the road and Aden's were checking to see if it had gone into any of the houses . He checked the meter too which is behind double gates and only accessible is them or the house. They are down the road digging up any way.
Had a hair cut first thing followed by our weekly Bible study. An interesting way to study the Bible . Then over to St John's to pick up veges for the soup . I have made a vegetable soup and curried banana . The later always goes down well as it is a sweet soup with a hint of curry.
Tonight I will just sit in front of the TV
