A splash of Spring

Gran gave us a bunch of daffodils today which brought a lovely bit of brightness to the kitchen. The ones in the garden are through the grass which is about a month earlier than usual. The snowdrops are all out and the witch hazels and Christmas roses are flowering. It is lovely to see, but will there be anything by the time spring is really here?
