Trees in Fairmilehead Park

The weather has brightened up at last, but it is still quite mild. Still a very low sun, so the shadows from house stretch across the grass, and only the trees receive sunlight in the morning. The park is very busy as people make the most of the lovely weather.

Nice walk down to Morningside in the afternoon for weekend groceries. And the sun is just above the Pentland Hills as partner and I go for a walk around the park pre- afternoon coffee. The park is still busy. In places, the snowdrops, and in one place, daffodils, are starting to appear. There is a lovely glow as the sun finally sinks, a nice way to end the daylight while sipping coffee, and it is well after 4pm before I decide to switch the light on.
