Accession Day

On my 2nd January blip I mentioned a Danish flag would appear on today’s blip as it is Danish Accession Day, with King Frederik and Queen Mary  being crowned following the abdication of Queen Margarethe II. 

As noted on my earlier blip, Queen Mary’s parents grew up in Port Seton before emigrating to Australia in the 1960s.
