Havelte

Went out with Peter in the afternoon for some landscape photography.
We headed to Havelte, to an ancient dolmen. (Hunebed D54 in dutch). But not before we had a nice lunch at Van der Valk in Spier.

It was wet and grey and dull, but for a moment we had a bit of direct sunlight from behind. It immediately changed the whole atmosphere. It was the decisive moment for the photo.
Luckily at that moment there were no screaming kids with balls and parents without authority around.

On our way back we stopped at the white mill near Groningen, but with no light at all and a short downpour instead, those photos probably will never see daylight again. Their future will be on the hard drive only.
