The Pensioner

Whistled up I was, by the daughter who was at a nearby playpark with small boy. The one on the wrong side of the tracks. Gangland. By the time I’d shuftied along there the wee fellah had pretty much had enough so it was back to ours to warm up and have a coffee. And small boy actually played reasonably well in our tiny small indoors. Soon he’ll be a welcome guest and can make grandad a cup of tea.
Then more slope clearing listening to Things Fell Apart with Jon Ronson. It's come to my notice as there’s a second season out but I’ve just started on season one, which is quite excellent. Blimey, what crazy stuff diverts us. Excellent apart from his strange voice, somewhere between Alan Carr and Mark Cousins.
Later, we watched Society of the Snow on Netflix. For a long film, it held your interest for every second. What would you do? You were in there with them. And they were so so so fkkt. Unbelievable.
