It's Flower Sunday!

Featured today are some of the splendid roses in the beautiful bouquet brought me by H, daughter #2's friend.  It really is a lovely bouquet and I especially like the roses that look as though they've been splashed with colour.
In other news: today was the day that the area around my (still covered) wound looked less gruesome ..... and instead my feet and legs swelled mightily, especially on the operated site!  There was plenty of pain too, in my operated leg, or rather my lower back on that side.
This afternoon we watched a recording of the original 1947 Miracle on 34th Street and this evening Call the Midwife, both comforting. programmes.
