Still Life With Useful Objects (Sun 14th Jan 2024)

I cribbed this idea off a blipper from a few days ago, but I've forgotten who. They had blipped their junk drawer, but I found an empty drawer and then selected bits and pieces from other drawers to fill it with. Now I have to put them back. Half way through the month and this is the second photograph I have taken this year.

P.S. The blipper was cathryng :)

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Sachal Ensemble with Wynton Marsalis - Blue Pepper (Far East Of The Blues) (2016)
Today's Cerys Matthews show was themed around the East, and this was my choice.
Wynton Marsalis and the Sachal Ensemble re-imagine Duke Ellington's  Blue Pepper. The song comes from the upcoming release Song of Lahore, a companion to the documentary of the same name by Oscar-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The documentary tells the story of a group of musicians called the Sachal Ensemble struggling to survive in the oppression and brutality of modern day Pakistan.
Song of Lahore features collaborations between the Sachal Ensemble and a plethora of guest artists including Jim James, Sean Lennon, Wynton Marsalis, Nels Cline of Wilco, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Bill Laurance of Snarky Puppy, Becca Stevens, with spoken word by Meryl Streep. - You Tube, 2016
