Snowy Day

There was a light covering of snow first thing this morning which had been forecast.  Before lunchtime there was a much heavier fall and the moment the shower stopped we headed out for a walk.

The grey skies had disappeared and to be replaced by big white clouds with patches of blue on show too.

We walked through the village down towards the harbour alongside the estuary then crossed Ladies’ Bridge onto the beach.  Not a sandy beach today as it was covered by snow.
