M45 Pleiades...

The sky was clear and the stars were very bright and it was very cold last evening... I set up and got a couple of hours worth of exposure on this beautiful open star cluster.

I was amazed to discover that my quite modest telescope had captured the galaxy UGC 2838 which is nearly 300 million light years away. See the extras...
