Christmas box

This branch of the Christmas box, Sarcococca confusa was broken off by a passing fox or errant builder.
Whatever the reason, it has come inside to fill, the air with its very heavy, sweet smelling flowers.

I liked the way last year’s black berries were echoed by the decoration on the pot.
