The first celandine of the year

Snow/frost/ice again this morning so I went for a walk around the village this afternoon as I didn't want to risk it being icy.

I was pleased to see this solitary celandine - the first that I've seen this year.  It was lovely to see a spring flower, quite a contrast from this morning!
