Crinkled Clouds

From the carpark of a big hardware store in Évora, one of our stops futilely trying to find the bed frames Mike needs. At this point I asked if he'd prayed about it. He did, next stop, the very pleasant woman told us where to go, just down the road, and hey, presto, there they were, simple as anything.

(Just don't ask me about the theology of why God would answer a prayer like that, and not for someone to survive cancer. Guess God doesn't always owe us an explanation.)

Such strong winds at the moment, sounds like we're on a ship, with all the banging and crashing.

Gratefuls:
- Ju ringing up so we could see Eden experiencing snow for the first time, absolutely mesmerised, but no way was she going to touch the stuff, just like she was with sand on the beach at first
- a stop off on the way back, where we discovered an abandoned water mill, under the new bridge
- coming home with exactly what Mike wanted; it was beginning to feel like an impossibility
