Minus Fahrenheit

Blue skies and sunshine are deceptive. It was -8°F (that's -22 in new money) when I left the house this morning and the temperature remained below zero all day.

You know you're in trouble when you suddenly realise there's an unexpected stop sign at the traffic lights and you brake, but the car won't stop quick enough. Inches of ice still on the roads made driving very uncomfortable.

Glad to get back and have a walk about with warm boots. Didn't stay out for long though.
