Manly

To Manly by ferry - it was choppy! - to see Lost in Palm Springs at the Manly Art Gallery. A fabulous exhibition, multidisciplinary, with paintings, drawings, architectural designs and a video about Wonder Valley. A long bow was drawn with Gold Coast, Qld, motels, beach shacks and post-war housing. And Canberra architecture. I wish cultural geographer was an occupation when I was choosing courses.

I’ve over-exposed the pic because the second-hand shop up the road was putting out old postcards this morning. I used to collect ones of Manly.
