We spent a lovely couple of hours walking around Lacock this morning.

Much of the area was under flood water recently and it's remarkable how quickly the water soaked away. Thankfully, the ground was frozen and not muddy.

There were several men in black, all looking highly suspicious, wondering around the Red Lion area of Lacock. I asked one if he was lost and he replied that he was "just taking it all in."  A shifty bunch. They piled in a big black 4x4 and drove away.

Queen Camilla has her private residence at nearby Reybridge. Perhaps she was passing through.

No idea what was going happening on Prison Bridge last night but it was a lot of commotion.
