Boys on tour

A bitterly cold but stunning blue sky day - and my birthday - so we headed to the coast (always my happy place!)

We were originally heading for Whitby, but were derailed due to an overpowering smell of gas in the road we live on, followed by a visit from the gas people to check it out.

Luckily it wasn’t gas and the eye watering smell dispersed after a few hours - probably an agricultural ‘thing’!

Anyway, we were late getting out so headed for Hornsea instead with the idea that after a blast of fresh air up the prom, we’d get fish and chips from Sullivans. Wrong again!! It was shut.

So we headed home and went back out to Papas fish restaurant instead (first time) which was great!

Now -4 outside, we’re back in front of the fire - a lovely day all in all!
