Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Hard

Tuesday night’s sleet and slush had turned into black ice, leaving most pavements a skating rink even by the time I tentatively stepped out after lunch.

Unsurprisingly, both dams were frozen hard. Above Red Brick Dam a Red Kite and an Air Canada Boeing 787 (Heathrow to Calgary) were sharing the sky (extra).

Still, it was bright, and the horses had managed to find a sunny slope to arrange themselves while they waited for their hay delivery (extra).
