Bold, Cold & Bread Binned, Aylesford

We've had one or two very cold nights over the past couple of days but weirdly hardly any frost. Apparently this happens when the air is very dry and has little or no moisture. This is rather funny in retrospect because the preceding few weeks have been very wet indeed. Today's image is a block of ice that formed on top of an old empty bread bin outside our back door that had filled up. It was full of water from all the rain but due to the plunging temperatures it formed a very thick layer of ice. So I managed to chip it off, put a pair of very colourful running shorts underneath and lit it with flash and there was today's image. Bold and cold!
