Carolina's journal

Like New

If you take a close look you can see the paint on the car windows that read:  Nearly New.   I thought that was funny!   Joe and I spent the night in Bisbee Arizona and then drove to Warren where the mine bosses lived.  I took lots of photos of the base ball field that was host to lots of ball clubs over the years.  They started here in 1909 and played into the 1940's or 50's.  The mining company sold the ball field to the High School for 10 dollars.  They keep it in great shape.  When we arrived one of the old timers that has run it for years, was doing a radio interview.  When he was done he gave us a tour of the whole place and took us under the bleachers  and showed us the dressings rooms and tons of history.
   A great day out!
