Making the Most ...

... of the frozen paths round the reservoir before they turn to mud again next week when the weather changes. The paths are a bit pitted and rough, but it makes a change from the usual walks.

J's not one for clearing out, even when we packed up to move here. Today he was going through some paperwork. Can't believe ... Or maybe I can! He found receipts of hotels we stayed in back in 1972, and a restaurant bill. I really can't believe we had a Sunday dinner in an extremely swish hotel for that price (extra)  Mind, it's interesting to compare the price of a bottle of wine to the food. I've Googled it, and the hotel is still there.
