‘Skater with Dog and Ball’

At 9 this morning the pond had frozen over sufficiently for this enterprising dog walker/jogger to don skates in the hope of enticing her dog onto the ice. (it was not as risky as it looked - she assured me that there was no sign of cracking and, in any case, the water is only about 18 inches - 2 feet deep, though no doubt absolutely freezing!)

There was a hole in the ice at the other end, though, that was being carefully curated by the Swans! (extra)
