We have one of those old fashioned marriages with gendered roles, the reason being that it works. It was mutually determined soon after our wedding 45 years ago that the quality of nutrition (and our health) would be much better if isbi did the cooking.
Having said that, there are various culinary procedures I’m allowed to perform such as stir fries (stirring only), gravy, poached eggs and porridge. Here I am carrying out the caramelisation of the crème brûlée as well as the photography!
Isbi considers anything I do in the kitchen qualifies for Silly Saturday.
