Peace garden

Our subject this week is PEACE.
This is the new Peace Garden opened last year at the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy.

"A place for reflection towards a greater understanding of the meaning of life and our purpose here on this beautiful earth. The Peace Pole in the centre of the garden symbolises the oneness of humanity, our common wish for peace and a reminder that we should think, speak and act in the spirit of harmony.
Inscribed on the Peace Pole is the prayer 'may peace prevail on earth' written in English, Polish, Arabic and Urdu"
