Relaxed, but Alert

My husband moved the suet to a higher location on the grid and the Flicker seems to approve, he looks very comfortable with his tail supported and feet in a good position. He was super alert since his sister was flying overhead waiting for her turn at the suet. I can't resist taking a photo of this beautiful big bird, even if I have to take it through the window.  Notice the rain falling in the background so the snow is continuing to melt... slowly.

Lazy day today since my husband went up to visit Ron. He felt a need to spend time with Ron, he wants to spend as much as possible because he doesn't want to miss any opportunity to spend time with him; Bob's favorite Aunt died this morning and he is regretting not visiting her more often.
