Those were the days - ice race on the frozen lake

The picture was taken by me in 1969 -1970, I was just in my early teens. The lake was deep frozen, so all daring car owners raced on the the ice. Highly popular. I had just bought myself a camera, a Minolta SR7 with a standard 50m lens, with my own hard-earned money and was about to learn the trade. Little did I know of Blipfoto and other media. Look at the map and you'll see where it took place! By the way, summertime, that was the place where I learned to swim!

I developed and printed the negative on my own, but with low to no experience. The negative was not the best even for scanning. But it was a long time ago...
