It was a dark and stormy night ...

Not so dark that I couldn't get this picture, but it doesn't quite capture the movement of the trees and the sound of the wind.  Storm Isha is definitely with us and gusting at up to 50 mph according to the Met Office forecast, although other parts of the country have already had gusts at over 90 mph.

So this evening's gardening activity will be the potting up of the date palms and firing up the propagator to keep them warm.
