Waiting for Dad

"He's gone to a place 
called Tesco, they say they need
milk.. I'm suspicious."

.. says Leo, waiting for Mr KCNQ2Haiku in the car outside Tesco Express.  We had an emergency Milk Run.  Leo was not a quiet car companion.  He loudly alerted me to every other shopper, especially those with children; shopping bags or heaven forbid.. their own dogs.  Sigh.  
Other than that, we've tried to dodge the coming storm, the journey down the M6 was windy, Mr KCNQ2Haiku did the bulk of the driving (thank you) and I took over for the last bit when it was looking less swervy.  We've had lunch, a walk in the woods (mostly dry) and played some xbox at home.  I played some role play games with Ben after tea, he's very sweet but his simplicity makes you so aware of his vulnerabilities.  
Now I'm thinking about lists for the week ahead and wondering how it's nearly the end of January 2024...
